Getting started
Is Routr free?
Yes. The free version lets you create up to five plays of your own. Folders are limited and shared images carry a Routr watermark. Routr Pro adds unlimited plays and folders, animation, coverage shells, printing and playbook sending.
Does it work on iPad?
Yes. Routr is built for iPhone and iPad and requires iOS 17.6 or later.
Can I get Routr on Android?
Routr is currently available for iPhone and iPad only.
Do I need an account?
No. Open Routr and start drawing. Plays live on your device.
Plays and game day
Which flag football format is it for?
Routr is built for 5v5 flag football under IFAF rules. Run plays use handoffs, pitches or reverses rather than a QB keeper.
Can I use Routr for 7v7?
Routr currently supports 5v5. Support for 7v7 is planned for a future release and is not available yet.
Can I print wristbands?
Yes. Routr Pro exports PDF pages, QB and player wristband cards at real band sizes, and call sheets.
How do I send plays to my assistant coach?
In Routr 3.0, Pro lets you send a folder as a playbook file through AirDrop, Messages or Mail. The other coach can open it in Routr for free and gets their own copy of the plays.

How do I cancel Pro?
Open Settings on your device, select your Apple Account, then Subscriptions. Choose Routr to manage or cancel your subscription. The lifetime purchase does not renew.
